Brief: Our client, a company in the finance industry, had used another incentive travel company for the past 5 years. They reached out to us for fresh concepts for their future executive retreat projects. We had ample budget and the client was looking for an trip predominately for rest and recuperation. The delegates were top executives from each location within the UK. The delegates were all well travelled and were looking for a proposal with a 'difference'. 

Programme: The delegates flew into Southern Peninsula and were taken to a deluxe guesthouse overlooking the mountainous landscape, fit with an outdoor hot tub and luxury amenities. The following day the delegates attended a welcome meeting and incentive travel overview. The supplier, being a valued contact of Elliss Company, arranged VIP extras for the delegates including spa treatments on site. Delegates then attended Reykjav√≠k International Games and were booked in VIP boxes, included with venue passes, unlimited food, drinks and snacks. Delegates took day 2 experiencing the Icelandic hot springs. Later that evening, the guests were scheduled a Jeep tour to the south coast. Delegates arrived at a newly opened restaurant where they were booked for an exclusive tasting of fresh lcelandic lobster and Schnapps. Delegates were then escorted further south for the hunt for Aurora Borealis. 

Challenges: As the delegates were based in various locations in the UK, all travel arrangements had to be coordinated individually with corresponding arrival times at the destination. Long transportation times to the accommodation in Iceland was inevitable, therefore we had to ensure the transport time was used sufficiently so our client did not feel like the time was wasted.
